Hi guys-- whether you know me for my fanfiction, original fiction, or wound up here completely by accident, I just want to say; Welcome!

It may or may not please you to know we’re a lot alike. I, too, am an aspiring author who’s writing this at midnight, since it’s the only time I can write uninterrupted. My desk is littered with book outlines and red pens; my phone is full of late-night gibberish that probably sounded cool when I wrote it, but definitely doesn’t sound cool now.

I decided to start this blog so I could share my journey as an aspiring writer. I plan on sharing tips and tricks that I pick up along the way, as well as my writing progress on Buzzkills.

My goal is to finish the manuscript (about 70,000 words) by September. Seems impossible, doesn’t it? Broken down, that only amounts to about 600 words a day (583.3, if we’re getting specific). Check in on the first of every month for updates!
